When I type in Pinyin on Ubuntu, the candidate window keeps jumping around with the cursor. It’s visually jarring and makes typing uncomfortable.

I’ve heard that a “multi-area positioning” scheme can fix this by letting the candidate window stay anchored in place.

I hope Ubuntu can help push this feature to land soon, improving the daily Chinese input experience.
