Ladybird is an amazing browser FOSS and if it is big enough there will be a very nice competitor to firefox and chrome. It is a fresh breath in a very saturated market

i think the future of open source is in great danger from the likes of arduino whom been sold to qualcom, the previous great open source arduino that has been the backbone of entry level enthusiasts is now money oriented.
if all open source start thinking like this (start open source and then being sold for profit) open source is in danger

Multipass is a great solution to any time I need to do something testworthy or foolish without risking my actual computer!

It’s lovely to always be able to spin up an updated Ubuntu in a couple seconds and see what havoc I can create (or avoid!).

Indeed, just a pitty that I can’t get audio on the Ubuntu vms with LXD, I believe it’s a driver issue, but I’m not sure… It would make it also great for other purposes where virtualized Linux desktop can be useful.

I can’t stop nerding out with Home Assistant lately. They’ve massively improved things release after release for the past couple of years, and it’s been really impressive to follow along with!

Exactly, Arduino openness in discussion will surely get constrained, critical views on QC may get hidden, and it may become an advertisement or PR piece instead.
even the latest Qualcomm UNO although claims openness, it may need binary blobs at some time for ‘best’ performance in external camera or graphics uses
