What is the better area to post about bugs not are possible create log?

Hello.
Thanks for reading my topic.
I see issues using Lubuntu since 20.04, but not are possible to create log because the feature work without crash.
For example the taskbar widget sensors even showing values of high temperature not change the graphs in icon so not is an bug for create log.
I see an area for post bugs in Lubuntu, but require create an log.
I only want report that type of issue not does any crash.

Have an nice week.

Do you know which package the taskbar widget sensors are part of?
Are you able to use the ubuntu-bug command-line tool on that system?

If yes and yes, you should be able to file the bug with running

ubuntu-bug <package_name>

replacing <package_name> with the specific package. This will collect and submit information and then open a web browser window for you to sign in and write the bug report. The information collected by ubuntu-bug, which includes the logs in question, will be attached to the bug report.

I don’t think ubuntu-bug requires a crash. I have previously used it for non-crash bug reports.

The only supported Lubuntu releases where bugs will be looked at, are

  • Lubuntu 25.04
  • Lubuntu 24.04 LTS

Even Lubuntu 22.04 LTS is unsupported in regards Lubuntu bugs, as LTS for flavors is only 3 years. Ubuntu 22.04 LTS is still supported; so bugs can be filed using ubuntu-bug though, but the flavor packages (all flavors) may not get fixed.

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is End of Standard Support, and thus only security fixes that are fixed as part of Canonical’s ESM support are made now.

https://fridge.ubuntu.com/2025/05/30/extended-security-maintenance-for-ubuntu-20-04-focal-began-on-may-29-2025/

This is a follow-up to the Extended Support warning sent one month ago to confirm that as of May 29, 2025, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS standard support has ended. No more package updates are planned to be accepted to the primary archive of Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

Thanks for replies
