Just installed Ubuntu on a 2017 Macbook Pro. Having problems with the WIFI though I never had under MacOS. Signal is much weaker. Seems to make a difference how close I am to the Airport Time Capsule router. I’m talking a distance of just a few feet though. Like 6 feet or 10 feet. Much further than that and the signal drops completely.
I notice my driver does not seem to support 5GHz. I thought perhaps I could find a driver more specific to my chip that could help but not having much luck so far.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
