User feedback in system settings for KDE Plasma

I have an Raspberry Pi 5 and I usually install Ubuntu (E.g., 24.10) and then upgrade to KDE Plasma using te command “sudo apt install kde-full”
The user feedback for system settings default is disabled.
Later I discovered that the user feedback in system settings will show if I use the “sudo apt install kubuntu-desktop”

May be the development team can make sure the user feedback in system settings is shown in both cases.

That’s because, per the first reply in your link,

KDE’s policy is that any form of telemetry is opt-in so that users know if and what information is shared.

Kubuntu’s policy is generally to stay as close to upstream on as many policies as possible. FWIW, the Kubuntu team maintains every aspect of the Plasma desktop in Ubuntu, hence I moved your post to the Kubuntu category.

If the user install KDE Plasma using the command "sudo apt install kde-full

The following screen will not show.

So the user may not even know there is the user feedback option at all.

I think this screen should be shown to the user in the case “sudo apt install kde-full” is used to install KDE Plasma.

Have you filed a bug against the package yet ?

Repeating it over and over in various places which you seem to do since april will not make the packagers aware … had you reported it back then in launchpad, chances would have been good that it would have been fixed in an SRU (stable release update) or even in time for release for 25.04

I filed the bug in launchpad to keep track of the issue.
