Interesting.
At some point the classic gnome shell must have been pulled in.
If you click Ubuntu on Xorg do you get to the desktop?
Ubuntu on Xorg: Got the white screen: “Something went wrong”…
Tried also Gnome classic and get the Mac-style desktop (that I dont like…)
Only the Ubuntu option looks working properly
(What about wayland?)

At the gear icon, if you select Ubuntu that means you are on Wayland.
