What does this mean and where can I go from here? This is a shell prompt.
BTW- I’m not a new user / member, see old forum.
Upon attempting to post this question, a Pop-up said “error occurred: ACCESS DENIED”.
Ahhh! You ASSUME I am a new user, when I’ve been posting for over a decade!

Well, you clearly seem able to post now.

If you really want to discuss a problem that does not exist for you anymore, then please review “cannot post”, where the reasons and solutions are thoroughly discussed. That’s the right place for such discussion.

Honestly, it seems a distraction. Not sure why you raised it.

I currently have “try Xubuntu v22.04” running and I see that I cannot access the file system on partition 2. I can see Partition 1 where the system files are. Would that keep it from booting? I get “error opening directory - permission denied” on partition 2. Permissions are greyed out and cannot change them to match partition 1.

How did my Computer go from booting Ok to NOT booting at all? The SSD drive is only 8 months old (WD Blue 1TB). Any help would be appreciated.
