Ubuntu Studio 26.04 and snd-hdspe

Ubuntu Version: 26.04
Desktop Environment: KDE Plasma / Ubuntu Studio

Problem Description:
Release notes say we should be able to: sudo apt install snd-hdspe

Error Messages: Error: Unable to locate package snd-hdspe

What I’ve Tried: apt install alsa-hdspe-dkms succeeded. I also installed alsa-tools-gui and got the HDSPmixer app running, but HDSPconf won’t load (that may be the new normal?).

That’s correct, the release announcement was wrong. I’ve gone back and corrected those pieces and added the correct command to the Ubuntu Studio 26.04 LTS Release Notes as well. Thank you!
