Good news for Virtual Desktop users on AWS!
Amazon WorkSpaces Applications now supports Ubuntu Pro 24.04 LTS on Elastic fleets, making it even easier to use disposable Ubuntu Desktop and its applications on AWS.
It brings the elastic capacity of the cloud also to desktop users, without worrying about capacity planning or image management.

To try it out, just head to the WorkSpaces Applications console, pick a supported AWS Region, and you’re good to go.
