We try to do at least one per month, often we do at least two, occasionally three. The Ubuntu-pt volunteers often are a relevant part of the “work force” of broader events in Portugal, like ECTL (also monthly events), or FSL (yearly).

I have not been to Ubuntu in person events; but I have been to DevConf US in Boston where Canonical had a booth and @nuccitheboss was there hosting it. I would like to see a Ubuntu LoCo in Boston due to there being many Linux users and university students such as myself.

My first in-person event that i have joined was at somewhere in Bucheon, South Korea when I was about to enter high school. It was a small gathering around Ubuntu Desktop users chatting about how each folks use Ubuntu Desktop and what apps they use mostly. That was already more then a decade i guess. - Then it brought me to also attend some a bit bigger gathering in Seoul which happens monthly on that time.

Various places in Asia, and also some non-capital area in Korea. Of course, I might try to organize things by myself just like what i do for Korean LoCo, UbuCon Korea & Asia but that has limitations. I do these stuff after my work hours and i can’t duplicate my body to handle bunch of more jobs :stuck_out_tongue: So, would be good to see organize their LoCo in their region and also event autonomously. Would like to support those folks as a member of the LoCo Council.
