What is the Ubuntu Desktop Team Indaba? Indaba is a South African term for “a conference or consultation between people”. This will be a live stream event, featuring members of the Ubuntu Desktop Team and members of the community. To get a feel for what to expect, you can review the previous months’ Indabas.

We will have two authors on this month’s Indaba, to talk about their Ubuntu books. Jay LaCroix wrote “Mastering Ubuntu Server” while Nathan Haines wrote “Beginning Ubuntu for Windows and Mac Users”. Come have a fireside chat with these two authors to learn about their journey and have your interest piqued for some holiday break reading!
