Hello everyone,
I’m attempting to spend all of the test takes I have for the exams in Canonical Academy. I have already taken a Ubuntu Server beta test and have a couple of non-beta (I assume) tests for the Ubuntu Desktop left to take. I got these for free without being in the beta test. I ‘purchased’ two free exam codes for the Ubuntu Desktop exam before becoming part of the beta pool.
With this in mind, I was sent an email on Saturday that the original take of the Desktop exam and it didn’t take one of the codes from my account. The original exam time was taken away from me without notice and without my authorization. Is there anything on the Canonical side that can explain to me why this happened? I don’t believe my credentials have been compromised.
After scheduling the exam agan, Canonical Academy sent a verification email that I scheduled an exam which said that I was taking a beta test. I’m confused why this email would come to me since the betas for the tests were said to be closed on the 30th of April and I did not get a beta code to schedule this exam. Why would I get this email? I’ll be taking the exam and not cancelling it again.
I’d appreciate a little assistance if anyone here can help.
Thanks,
Matt.
