Ubuntu Africa proudly sponsored and actively participated in the Innovate Conference 2025, an electrifying three-day event that brought together innovators, developers, startups, and open-source enthusiasts under the theme “DeFi-ing the Odds.” The conference was designed to empower young Africans and emerging tech leaders to build resilient brands and communities even amid economic uncertainties and bear markets.
Held across March 26 to 29, 2025, the event featured a fusion of a hackathon, trading contest, speaker sessions, exhibitions, and immersive networking opportunities—all centered on Web3, DeFi, and the future of decentralized technology.

Day 1 Engagement: At the invite-only Hackathon & Trading Contest, we connected with 100+ builders at The Concave, offering insights and mentorship to early-stage developers.
Speaker Session: Shared thoughts on Africa’s open-source culture and Web3 collaboration opportunities.
Merch Distribution: Handed out branded gear (shirts, stickers, totes, notebooks) to boost visibility and community spirit.
