Ubuntu 25.04 weird slow downs and my experience with it

I am new to ubuntu and by accident installed 25.04 dont ask … so i guess i am a beta tester now hahaha
so far though it has worked just pretty much fine.

except even slower at startup

only at start up after the screen where you can select bios i get a black screen that last for like 15 seconds ??? kinda annoying even though kernel 6.14 should have resolved that for coreduo chips?

more frequent system freezes which also should have been fixed with 6.14?

when i try to launch a program via the terminal i get all these warning messages and eventually it does start or warning messages and nothing happens.

if this is only thing that happens in a beta ubuntu pretty impressive i always thought it was barely useable on a daily driver even the ubuntu beta’s are stable hahaha

@misternemo You should report these as bugs to help the developers iron out any kinks.

Being a tester means that you have the skills to diagnose problems and report bugs.

Ubuntu 25.04, until release, is unsupported. Testers don’t need support. It’s the wrong place to learn those skills.

Advice: Don’t frustrate yourself by asking for support with an unsupported release of Ubuntu. Consider reinstalling a supported release.

it is just a black screen it shows nothing

so start up - bios screen - blank black screen (last 15 seconds) - first ubuntu load screen - second ubuntu load screen - desktop finished.

Without it, your message becomes too long and hard to read. It keeps pastes from the terminal more organized and keeps the markdown language used in Discourse from pre-formatting it.
