Ubuntu 20.04 webdav nautlis

Hello everyone, I can see that there are changes to webdav from ubuntu 20.04 and newer versions ? does anyone know what packages are responsible for webdav client in ubuntu 20.04 vs other newer versions ?

Trying to make a .zip file of a android folder mounted in a webdav connection works in ubuntu 20.04, but it does not work beyond 20.04. Therefore, something has changed in webdav after 20.04

I’ll refer you to Welcome To Support And Help or the Start Here page, which states

Given your question appears to be wanting to get something to work with something else (that maybe a supported release), you’re welcome to ask about that, as that we maybe able to help with; but your question only mentions off-topic 20.04 specifically.

The oldest release in standard support is now Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, thus questions about 20.04 aren’t on-topic any longer.

FYI: Release notes go into some detail of the changes; but with focal or 20.04 being so many releases ago, you’re asking about a lot of ground; have you explored yourself (ie. read the release notes of later releases)

what ? so what then ? I just stated that newer webdav clients dont work as intended with 20.04 it doesn’t matter if 20.04 is mentioned

Your question as written only specifically mentions 20.04, which is off-topic; I’m trying to get you to adjust your question to make it so I’m not forced to close question as off-topic per Support and Help rules.

Please re-read Welcome To Support And Help

How is it off-topic ? I am saying that something has changed with NEWER ubuntu versions webdav so the question pertains to newer ubuntu versions

Your question is asking for details relating specifically to an off-topic release.

If you asked about why something didn’t work on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS; a release in standard support, that question would be on-topic.

If you asked about it not working on 20.10, 21.04, 21.10 which are newer releases too than Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, the question would still be off-topic.

I asked for you to amend the question so it fitted the rules I linked (twice).
