The unstoppable momentum of UbuCons around the world continues! Next up, the Ubuntu community is heading to the beautiful city of Santiago, Chile, for the highly anticipated UbuCon Latinoamérica 2026! 
UbuConLA is the traveling regional conference that brings together open source enthusiasts, students, and Ubuntu contributors from all across Latin America. It’s a completely free event packed with vibrant talks, hands-on workshops, and collaboration spaces focused on empowering the Free Software universe. 
Hosted at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (FINARQ) at the Central University of Chile on September 29th and 30th, this edition is set to be a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and strengthen the regional tech community.
