This is my triage report.
Bugs need attention
The upgrade of bind9 from 24.04 to 26.04 fails because the users keep the old /etc/bind/named.conf file that still reference the removed conffile /etc/bind/named.conf.default-zones. I assign this bug to myself and bring this topic to the team discussion to see what is the best fix for this issue.
One other issue encountered with upgrade from 24.04 to 26.04. Same cause here, users have modified conffiles and the new version is not compatible with these old conffile. I added this bug to our team todo list.
This is a SRU request back to Noble for a memory leak released in Resolute/Stonking. We have to evaluate the memory leak impact to see if it fits the SRU requirements.
