Topic closed early; possibly hit Solution accidentally?

I’m a new user, my first Support topic was closed early. I would appreciate if it was reopened.

Looking for support on installing Ubuntu on Snapdragon X

It’s not only a new machine but it seems like nobody tried this processor before! Thats incorrect, i think there is some confusion with naming. There are actually only two SOCs, higher end hamoa (X1E, high end X1P like X1P-64-100) and lower end purwa that came out significantly later (starting from X1P-42-100 and lower, including X1-26-100). Both are now fully supported upstream. All the other ‘models’ are just binning variants (see semiconductor binning) of hamoa and purwa. Zenbook a14 UX34…

Could it be that I accidentally hit Solution? (I suppose it’s only the author of the question, i.e. me, that can choose a Solution). I read the thread on my tablet (touchscreen) so I guess it’s not impossible some virtual button was hit while swapping / scrolling. If that was the case I think the site designer might want to look at double-validating this action (“Do you really want to …” pop-up)

Thanks, I can see the Solution is gone too.

Can you confirm please that it’s only me that can choose mark the Solution and that was the reason the topic was closed.

Currently, only the original poster (you) and staff (admins and moderators) can mark a post as the solution.

So I guess this was accidental?

Anyway, the topic is open and when you are ready are free to mark posts as the solution when relevant.
