Problem Description:
I am unable to enable fingerprint auth on my Geekbook Pro 14”.
Note: this is very a new model so I could be on the bleeding edge.
It appears that the kernel cannot see a relevant USB device. The output from lshw is attached below. However I cannot see a device that might be the sensor (but then a lot of the device information is opaque to me).
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can start to get the device configured so the kernel can see it? Are there any more diagnostic tools I can use?
