Running Ubuntu Mate 22.04 and the latest snap Thunderbird. Just switched on machine and get this window when trying to open Thunderbird.
I’ve rebooted and the same thing. My next step is to purge and re-install but I wanted to get advice in case this is more sinister. Thanks.
Just use snap revert thunderbird to get back to the former version and file a bug …

This post was already solved, but Ubuntu MATE 22.04 LTS is End of Life and isn’t a supportedrelease in the Ubuntu Discourse Support and Help area.
If you refer to our Start Here page, and Before asking a question drop down, a list of supported releases is provided; that includes Ubuntu MATE 24.04 LTS & Ubuntu MAte 25.10 only.
Be aware future questions about unsupported Ubuntu MATE releases (other flavors too) maybe closed before answered, due to be unsupported.
