Hi all,

Just a follow-up on this.

I tried Top Icons Plus [1] and must say that it provides a beautiful integration of legacy tray icons into the Ubuntu Desktop.

In my opinion, it’s important for the user experience that expected tray icons appear.

In my example, I was able to integrate Hangouts and Ksplice thanks to Top Icons Plus.

Ubuntu AppIndicators doesn’t provide this integration (yet).

Are there any plans to ship Top Icons Plus by default in Ubuntu 18.04?
