Sound stopped working after release-upgrade to 24.04

No longer an issue after 24.04.2… “new” kernel solved the bug.

Yeah, I jumped over and no problem with the latest LTS. 6.8.0–58

I have just changed from Win10 to Ubuntu Desktop 24.04.1 LTS. My sound now sounds flat. It works. But it sounds far away and flat.

I am a beginner and have not run Ubuntu before. Only studied the foundations in shool.

Any suggestions?
