Something changed when doing stuff

Desktop Environment (if applicable):

Problem Description:

This is odd. When, for instance, I use Discs to format something it used to show a light or a moving circle when it was doing its thing so I knew when it was done. Now, however, its a very dim little extension that moves and is hard to see.

The same thing will happen when sabnzbd is doing its thing. Same little dim light moving until finished.

I do not know if its firefox or ubuntu and have no idea how to say what this is so I can figure it out. Perhaps somebody can tell me so I can get back to the way things were easily seen.
