I am looking for an App that is as good or better than Windows Snip&Sketch.
I need one that will allow me to snap a partial screen shot of a Vivaldi pull down menu without the menu closing. My reason is that I want to show how bad the font is and size so I can post on discussions for a resolution and others to see but every time I want to take a pic the drop down menu disappears. I tried Deepin Capture but that was a waste of time.
Any good recomendations appreciated.

I use the built in functionality of gnome and just press the print screen key to take a screen shot. Usually drop downs stay open when capturing a (partial) screen this way.

I have a Acer lap top that wont take Win11 so have repurposed it solely for Ubuntu. It is a very interesting learning curve as the objective is to shift entirely from “ms” at some point due to all the bloat, unfixed stuff etc etc etc.
