Abstract
During last year’s GSoC, I, under the mentorship of Scarlett Moore and Aleix Pol, developed a KCM (Settings Module) for KDE to manage snaps installed in a KDE based system. In this talk, I’ll go through that project, showcasing my work in the upstream snapd-glib api, how others can also easily understand and manipulate snapd REST APIs, and also how this KCM will make it very easy to manage snaps directly from a fast, handy graphical interface. I’ll also explain my development model, how I iteratively build over, and how the Snap KCM came to the current stage the way it is.
