Searching for questions to answer

I thought I’d share a little tip for finding questions here.

I’m often looking for new, unanswered questions, rather than diving into whatever is popular on the day. I do this because someone who asks a question and gets zero answers will likely leave dissatisfied.

  1. Open https://discourse.ubuntu.com/search .
  2. Add filtering options such as #support-and-help status:noreplies.
  3. Optionally add order:oldest in:unseen to show the oldest first, and reduce to topics you haven’t seen yet.
