Running Ubuntu Mate 24.04 and Rhytmbox (deb) 3.4.7.
Imported playlists are imported with no/blank content. I’ve posted this issue on Gnome Discourse but had no response. I had this issue with various scenarios but at the most basic level I have this:
Create a working playlist in Rhythmbox. Close down app and re-launch - playlist plays content. Save playlist to HD as m3u file, open with text editor to confirm data content (tracks, location, etc) is present. Rename name, check again with text editor that data content present. Import renamed file back into Rhythmbox - playlist is empty. When I try and export/save the renamed playlist out of Rhythmbox I get the message: Couldn’t save playlist. Playlist selected for saving is empty.
I have read (but cannot find it now) that this is a known issue. Hopefully there is a work-round. Any advice appreciated.
