Retiring the ISO Tracker! Introducing tests.ubuntu.com for 26.04 LTS

I’ve found tests.ubuntu.com difficult to use, ie. when i go to the page I get

where I’m trying to select a ‘test plan’ for Lubuntu, I click the hoping for a menu item and all I get is

where the changed to a but nothing shows, but I also cannot see further down the page anyway, as the bottom of the window ends at my panel on the bottom of the screen.

If there is more of the page I’m supposed to see, there is no way to scroll down to view it…

Sure I can Ctrl+- and make the screen tiny, but its also near impossible to read when I do that. If there is a method to scroll up & down the page, I’ve not found it (mouse-scroll wheel or somewhere to click & drag hasn’t worked for me); let alone left-right, but up-down I suspect is more critical.

As a result, I’ve just record the few tests I’ve done on the old ISO QA tracker instead.

FYI: My browser is firefox with the default snap package, but I’ve also tried using opera, vivaldi and brave browsers, but all results in me getting the same results on this system.

Did you try to scroll in the bottom left area?

Thanks for reporting this, it has just been fixed!

Latest updates on Test Observer:

  • image link download link can now be copied by right clicking on it and selecting “Copy link”.
  • Ctrl-Click and Middle Click should now allow you to open Flutter links in a new tab (2026, we’re fixing “open in a new tab” features, thank you Flutter ).
  • The “permission denied” popup showing upon login is fixed as well.
  • The table header is now fixed, so it’s easier to read the columns in the image list view, even when scrolling down.

The ACLs story is still awaiting some PRs to get merged.

Well, how do I submit the result from this screen? Thank you.

That’s weird, you should see a second row in the list of environment. This is what I have on the very same image:

Hey @corradoventu , you have a filter set on Passed, if you remove it and refresh the user manual tests will appear again.
Thx

The ACLs should now be in order, so teams owning the artefacts should now be able to respin and approve them by themselves.

Today I installed from the ISO Ubuntu 26.10 “Stonking Stingray” - Daily amd64 (20260627) but in the page Test Observer i see only up to

version 20260625

That’s because there’s a fundamental bug with the ISO builder, so there have been no ISOs since then.

But in Ubuntu 26.10 (Stonking Stingray) Daily Build i see (and i installed from it)

That is correct - seems to not have been updated in Test Observer.

The page Test Observer does not fit in my 1920x1080 screen and can’t be scrolled to see the lower part. Page https://tests.ubuntu.com/#/images/21943 not scrollable · Issue #825 · canonical/test_observer · GitHub

Was my problem, only lower left part of the page is scrollable.

I haven’t been able to access Test Observer since yesterday:

Ubuntu desktop ISO 202607nn not listed while ununtukylin, unity… are listed

There have been some infra issues on TO recently (database access was unreliable). Those seems to be resolved now, but some images produced in the meantime might not have been recorded.
