Restore Quicklaunch section on my Panel (or whatever it is called.)

Ubuntu 24.04, Running Cinnamon (I don’t know which version. (update, v 6.0.4.)

Please help me with some of the terms, I come from Windows.

At the bottom is a bar, I think it is called a Panel.

On the left, is a round icon with a mountain maybe Mt. Baker (I live in WA.) (Windows calls it a Start Button).

Next was a quick start bar (Windows terminology) where I had Thunderbird, Firefox, and a few others.

Next to that was what I am calling a Taskbar (again, Windows terminology.)

Issue #1, The Quick Start bar has disappeared, any help to get it back would be appreciated. It disappeared when I clicked ungroup intending to fix issue #2 (below.) Clicking “add to panel” for a new program has no effect. (I assume when I get the panel back I’ll have some new icons there.)

Issue #2, How do I ungroup the individual windows in each icon? For example, I have 2 Firefox windows, and I see a little number 2 on the Firefox Icon. I’d like to have 2 separate Firefox icons in this task bar.

Thanks, Mark.
