Request to Create a Topic for Ubuntu Japanese Team

Hi LoCo Admins,

I’m a member of the Ubuntu Japanese Team, and I’d like to request the creation of a topic for our team under the LoCo section.

Our main purpose is to publish the Japanese translation of Ubuntu release notes. Until now, we’ve been using the Ubuntu Wiki for this. For example:

But maintaining it has become cumbersome, especially due to the conversion between Markdown and MoinMoin formats. It would be much easier and more efficient to post directly on Discourse.

For general discussions in Japanese, we already have a Japanese-language community forum, and we plan to continue using that. The new topic here would mainly serve as a space for sharing and archiving official translated release notes and other announcements.

Thank you for your consideration.

Best regards,
Mitsuya Shibata, Mitsuya Shibata in Launchpad

My pleasure, by the way. If you need a Matrix room for Japanese LoCo folks, I can create one for you at ubuntu.com matrix server (under Ubuntu Local Communities space). Feel free to let me know if you need one
