Ubuntu Version:
Example: 24.04 LTS
Desktop Environment (if applicable):
GNOME
Problem Description:
Greetings,
I would like to know how to fix, or possibly bypass, a black screen (not displaying a thing) when I log on to my hotmail account successfully. I am running Ubuntu 24.04 on a Raspberry Pi 5 (with 8 gb of RAM); wether in the firefox or brave browsers, this happens to me almost instantaneously (the black screen, not a black web page, to be accurate).
I am using GNOME.
If I could get some help, I would be immensely grateful, as everything else seems to be in working order.
Kind regards,
Luis
Relevant System Information:
It is a Raspberry Pi 5, with Ubuntu flashed using the raspi-config package.
Screenshots or Error Messages:
Displays no error messages and a black viewport.
What I’ve Tried:
Alter Wayland’s configuration at /boot/firmware/cmdline.txt, by adding the following line to the file: hdmi_group=1.
