This is the final week of Questing Quokka 25.10 release cycle and we will use this thread to update everyone on the overall status of this release as we approach release day on Thursday.
By the way we already know the code name for the next Ubuntu 26.04 : Resolute Raccoon

Team has been working on resolute archive opening and have uploaded the new toolchain. If all goes well, the archive should be opened next week for development
As a reminder upgrades from plucky 25.04 to Questing 25.10 are expected to be enabled in on or before October 23rd.

State Of things
Happy Release Day everyone! 
All ISO testing have been completed in the last 24 hours and Unity decided to not release their flavor because they were not going to be ready.
.NET 10 was bootstrap last night and will be in 25.10 Thank you so much @utkarsh
All Images (30) were published this morning . This is probably one of the smoothest release on record!
We are now working with the LaunchPad, IS and Wed Team to coordinate with the Press release which should be out any time now.
Next we will focus on Resolute Raccoon Opening.

State of things
RC has been available with a lot of tests already done with just a handful are left.
A quick respin of Xubuntu was required because the artwork was missing 
this was resolved last night and new images is built and ready for test.
Two Upgrades issues with sudo_rs and kdump we’re being looked at. sudo_rs issue has been raised upstream and the kernel team is investigating the possible kdump issue LP#2126934
Everything else is looking pretty good and we should be able to pre-publish tonight and maybe start the release and publishing tomorrow morning.

Images respin
It took a little long for these 3 packages to migrate so we asked @mwhudson to kick off build last night. While Michael was able to kick off these builds, only half of the images successfully built due to some infra issue that @utkarsh will track today with the LaunchPad team. in the meantime we will retry the remaining builds and plan to then RC ready for testing email real soon.
