I’m experiencing a recurring issue with live-patch on my Ubuntu system:
-
Upon login, I receive an error message related to live-patch.
-
A red dot appears on the live-patch shield in the top-right corner.
-
When accessing live-patch settings through Software & Updates:
-
It redirects to the Ubuntu Pro page.
-
The kernel live-patch setting is off.
Attempting to toggle it on results in it turning off after a few seconds.
Questions:
-
Should the kernel live-patch setting be on or off by default?
-
Why does the setting keep reverting to off when I try to enable it?
Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!
