ubuntu/ubuntu - wrong password
ubuntu/(empty) - wrong password
???
Having the same problem.
Using VMWare Fusion for ARM (Player Version 13.0.1) with lunar-desktop-arm64.iso
ISO downloaded from https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/
Clicking enter 2x doesn’t work (leaving username/pass blank)
Entering computer name and leaving password blank doesn’t work
Entering ubuntu as username and leaving pass blank doesn’t work and using ubuntu/ubuntu as mentioned above doesn’t lead to anything.
Not able to get in
Having same problem. If you have found a solution, please post here.
Copied someone’s possible solution ??
The default username is ubuntu, and the password is blank on an Ubuntu LiveCD.
Brent posted the following over on Serverault:
If the username “ubuntu” with an empty password doesn’t work, you may be able to add a new user to the system as follows.
Press Ctrl+Alt+F1 and run this command:
sudo adduser username
Meanwhile in some other Ubuntu-Based Distros (especially official ones), the username goes by their distro name (e.g: Xubuntu=‘xubuntu’, Lubuntu=‘lubuntu’ etc) though you can also find the username of it on some distros by looking at the upper-left hand corner.
It’s also tty with requirement login and password
It does not work for lunar-desktop-arm64.iso
Closing.
