The ‘z Personal Development Tool’ is a commercial software emulator, secured by a USB dongle aka Token, that allows to run s390x code (incl. full operating systems) on amd64 hardware for development and test purposes. The zPDT token, that needs to be activated through an IBM business partner, zPDT supplier, or through IBM Resource Link®, is required.
