OEM repo for 24.04 no longer available for HP

Hi all,

I have upgraded from 22.04 to 24.04 LTS on an HP machine. Apt is now complaining it can no longer find stella.cmit repository for noble. Does that mean that a support package is no longer required (as suggested by this answer)? Or is my machine not officially supporting 24.04 (According to this page it did for 20.04) ?

How to find out?
And how to find the connection of canonical oem repo to my exact machine?

If everything works as it is most likely the case you don’t need the repo anymore. I have installed Ubuntu on a dozen of machines not on that certified list, never had a problem so that list is just a small sample of machines on which Ubuntu would work. In general I think Dell, hp and Lenovo have good Linux compatibility, for specific models and makes you can search the internet for more info if they are not on the Canonical certification list.
