No gui for plugin on ardour

I use ubuntu studio

6.17.0-14-generic #14~24.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Thu Jan 15 15:52:10 UTC 2 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
ubuntu studio 24.04.4 LTS

I have no gui for plugins in ardour that where working on previous versions, and in another laptop where I have the same version and flavour studio (24.04.4 LTS) the plugins are working with gui.

What I have tried: download ardour and install it, but it even sound anything also it is not noticed by qjack or anything.

I have read the instructions for the Ubuntu studio configurator but I do not know what is supposed to do.

Is the GUI missing for all plugins you have tried? Or just certain specific plugins? If the latter, which plugins are missing the GUI?

The plugin that I miss most it is a graphical equalizator. c* eq10 wich is an lv2 plugin. I have been checking plugins and it is not that all ladspa or lv1 or lsp or vs3 are working or not. Some of them works while others don’t. There are like 500 plugins or instruments I am not looking everyone of them and I don’t want to make someone to waste their time on telling me to look for, change, test or endessly searching for a line of code that will probably whatever. Thank you for your time. I will try to find it myself a solution or probably breaking my SO or the audio configuration.

OK. One thing to look at is if your equalizer plugin GUI depends on an older version of the GTK library. Several users of the CALF plugin suite discovered that the GUIs no longer loaded in Ardour after a specific release in the Ardour 8.x series. I know you’re issue isn’t with CALF, but in case it might be applicable the issue is described here:

Thank you for your time. I have discovered that Ubuntu 24.04 has a latency problem and I don’t know how to fix it. It is a waste of time to try to fix a plugin when the metronome has delays. So, I will try the last version of Ubuntu studio to see if the latency problem it is fixed. Thank you
