Hi everyone
To get Kubuntu out of a governance gridlock, the Ubuntu Community Council, is appointing a temporary Kubuntu council to get things moving again. This is supported by currently remaining Kubuntu council members Rik Mills and Rick Timmis.
The Kubuntu council found itself in a situation where it did not have the required number of members to organize Kubuntu Council elections. For this reason, we will appoint a temporary Kubuntu council for one year, who can reboot Kubuntu governance and organize elections.
With this, we’re happy to announce the new temporary Kubuntu council, elected until 24/06/2027.
