From what I have read discourse has been around for a few years although I have never heard of it. I have been a member of ubuntuforums.org for 16 years. Best forum on the internet. Proud to have been a part of it. Now I am forced to abandon my account and move over to discourse, leaving all my discussions behind. So I signed into discourse and looked around. This is the most discombobulated, confusing, over regulated and over filled with detailed subcategories. Nothing on this website makes sense. It is to the point of being offensive that I was forced to have my previous account made null and void at ubuntuforums.org and then come over hear and see that this site isn’t even usable. Thank God I have a home on other well designed sites like linuxquestions.org and linux.org and others. Just another example of modernization taking over what works best and destroying it. Looks like the work of AI.
