Hi All,
I’ve been a long time user of Ubuntu-MATE and also of the ubuntu-mate.community site which, as you might probably know, will be discontinued and rebooted here.
So yes, I also moved here.
I could, luckily, keep the same username and avatar and I hope I can continue to help out where I can and be part of the growing Ubuntu family here (especially the MATE part of the forum) 
It’s always nice to see a familiar face from the other site.

I’m here in the “Ubuntu Discourse” / “Ubuntu Community Hub” since 2022, but indeed - as you know - I’m also “from” the “Ubuntu MATE Community” - https://ubuntu-mate.community/ - In my case, I have been there since 2016, with the same name (“Ricardo Dias Marques”), same username (“ricmarques”) and the same avatar, that I’m using here in the “Ubuntu Discourse”. I’m here now also, but I fear my involvement with Ubuntu and MATE will be a bit limited, as my server went completely belly up and it’s not worth spending the money to replace disks on ancient hardware. I am running Ubuntu MATE on a laptop, so I’m not out the door entirely. Good to see some familiar names and faces here!
