We host Mir Office Hours every month

Everyone is welcome. No prior arrangements are necessary. You don’t need to sign-up, or register. Just click on the link to join, for as little or as much time as you can spare, at any time during the event.


We’ll schedule these every month, trying to alternate between western- and eastern-hemisphere friendly times.

And the notes:

  • Discussed the Mir 26.04 roadmap, focusing on core system improvements like resilience testing, logging refactor, and prototyping a Rust-based Wayland front end, along with continued development of input triggers
  • Continued work on Flutter for support of the `mir-shell` protocol
  • Emphasis on completing Wayland protocols for broader support, specifically to convince LXQt to support Mir/Miriway
  • Matt also outlined future enhancements to `miracle-wim`, including accessibility features, custom shaders for output filters, and a new `#include` system for configurations
  • We discussed different conferences as venues for Mir to establish presence in the community
