Lubuntu Discover paperwork hangs at -loading.-

Operating System: Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS -
Old Windows tech supporter, Using retirement to learn Linux, Lubuntu.
I’ve loaded it on 3 laptops so far. On one after config, I went to Discover and loaded a package called Paperwork. Now I look at Paperwork in the list and it stays at “loading” for up to an hour. “Launch” and “Remove” are not available. I’ve tried the following:

Killed Discover: pkill -9
Updated all: sudo apt update
…and here: sudo apt full-upgrade
deleted discover cache: rm -rf ~/.cache/discover
deleted the lock file: sudo rm /var/lib/discover/lock.*
I also tried rinstalling Discover.

Rebooted and checked Discover, and Paperwork is still hanging. I just want to get rid of it. Paperwork forum search not helpful for uninstall.
1: Is Paperwork or Discover using storage, memory or processes that can be recovered.
2: Is there a way to get rid of this thing? Ideas… anyone? Bueller? Not a big thing as Discover works otherwise. Just making me a little nuts.
