Just wanted to say to the OP, thanks for this thread. Iâm currently running the Studio LTS beta on a GTX 1050 based laptop. Runs great in Wayland⊠but the Xwayland layer doesnât work for some of the older apps I still use, though itâs fine when it does work.
May end up going back to Lubuntu. I have used it before with ubuntustudio-installer so I can get my multimedia fix, but in a faster DE (again⊠KDE Plasma is nice though, probably one of the better optimized big DEs, but my PC isnât new anymore :))
