Looking for a few Kubuntu / Plasma beta testers for Klara (local desktop AI)

Flavors & Remixes Kubuntu

Hi all,

I’m looking for a small number of Kubuntu (and Ubuntu-family Plasma) users to beta-test Klara — a local desktop AI helper for Plasma that you can install without living in the terminal.

This is an invite-only beta. I’m not posting a public download. If you’d like to try it:

  1. Email rick-timmis@kubuntu.org with the subject Klara beta

  2. In the body, please include:

    • Your Kubuntu (or distro) version

    • Rough machine notes (e.g. laptop/desktop, RAM, GPU)

    • One sentence on what you’d use a desktop AI assistant / helper for

I’ll reply with a beta package while places last. A bit of honest feedback after you try it would mean a lot.
