Hi,
On my kubunto plasma wayland v6.4.5 (non dual boot) i installed and enabled krdp. When I trie to connect from Windows 11 rdp, after putting the user and password i recieve error of date time STAMP with a black screen.
I made a VM on Windows machine with the same kubunto intalation and works fine…
After several attemps i saw on kubunto notifications:
kubuntu integration kde portal not possible to share screen
The PC espcificatios:
HP elitebook 800 G5
I5 9500t
16gb RAM
Integrantes GPU Intel 630
I posted this messagem in Plasma comunity and they say that Plasma was aready updated to version 6.5 and reply that I have to wait until kubunto update to the last version…
I share here the KDE Plasma reply:
“Thanks for the bug report.
However, Plasma 6.4.5 no longer receives updates or maintenance from KDE; active versions are 6.5.5 or newer. Please upgrade to an active version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one.
If you need support for the older version of Plasma and Krdp, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing help for older releases that are no longer receiving updates from KDE.
If this issue is still reproducible in the current version of Plasma, feel free to re-open this bug report.
Thanks for understanding.”
My question - is kubunto working in this update? or any update preventing this bug?
thanks and best regards to all comunity…
