The Kubuntu website is not a black box. It lives at github.com/kubuntu-team/kubuntu.org, built with Hugo. The workflow is the same as any other community package: fork, land on develop, make a feature branch, edit under content/en, check localhost:1313, open the pull request into develop (not main — that is production).
Contributors have already shipped dark mode, fresh Discover screenshots, an Indonesian translation, archive links, and a fix so modern Hugo starts cleanly for new people. Open asks include download buttons that still say “64-bit” instead of the ISO name (good first issue), a bouncing contact email, missing system requirements, and an RSS feed people still want.
Between now and the next episode we plan to merge what is ready — not every open PR in one go. If yours is waiting, leave a comment and keep it rebased on develop.
