iPod Touch 2 not recognised

Ubuntu Support Template

Ubuntu Version:
24.04 LTS

Desktop Environment (if applicable):
GNOME

Problem Description:
I have an iPod nano and an iPod Touch 2nd generation. When I connect the nano, I can play the music with Rhytmbox and manage it with gtkpod. The iPod nano2 appears as a photo device, it says it contains photos (which it doesn’t) I get the Rhythbox button, but then no music on it is detected.
