Introduction

Hello everyone,

My name is Rishabh Dixit, and I’m excited to join this vibrant community. I hope to deepen my open-source journey and contribute to projects.

I recently completed my Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University in Lucknow, India. I have about 4 years of academic and practical experience working with:

  • Linux systems and distributions, including Canonical/Ubuntu and Debian
  • Linux networking and security
  • Kernel internals and system administration
  • Cloud computing and cloud security
  • Virtualization technologies
  • Containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Although I have some background in open-source, I’m eager to contribute to Ubuntu-related projects and collaborate with experienced contributors while continuing to learn.

I’m particularly interested in areas such as:

  • Security hardening
  • Cloud-native tools
  • Kernel improvements
  • Community documentation and knowledge sharing

If anyone has suggestions for good projects to start with or ways I can contribute, I would really appreciate your guidance.

I look forward to learning, collaborating, and giving back to the community!

Warm regards,
Rishabh Dixit

It’s exciting for me to look around people from all over the world, having diverse background, different places come together, share ideas, help each other, to build, design, and innovate the cutting-edge technologies so that anyone to everyone can access it and to contribute towards it. I’m eager to start to build, participate, and to contribute so that we can make this world a better living place.
