I tried to install Ubuntu 26.04 in a dual boot configuration on a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim laptop with a Snapdragon processor.
The installation went perfectly with the resolute ISO (May 4, 2026) from :

I can’t perform boot-repair within the installation.
I used a bootable USB drive with a boot-repair ISO, but it’s an am64 version and it doesn’t work. There is an arm64 boot-repair version :
Honestly, you’re better off just performing a fresh re-install vs debugging post-install.
First - please download the ARM 64-bit architecture ISO from Ubuntu’s official desktop page or the official releases page. Never download from an alternate source as it is not best practice and can lead to other issues.
Second - use one of the following programs to burn the ISO to a USB drive & make it bootable:
Hello,
As you suggested, I used the 64-bit ARM ISO from Resolute with a bootable USB drive created by the ARM64 version of Rufus.
The installation failed to start.
On another brand new Asus laptop with an AMD64 processor, the AMD64 ISO installation proceeded normally without any errors.
Thank you for your help.
