Import Sticky Threads From Ubuntu Forums Question

An excellent question.

  1. The current plan is that the read-only UbuntuForums will use the same URLs for several years. So all the stickies will be in the same place, just as discoverable as before.

    So there is no hurry.

  2. Discourse is currently the home of lots of existing documentation and tutorials. There are some slow-moving discussions around what should be moved and where. Including stickies.

    Perhaps some stickies might be integrated into existing documentation or tutorials or other categories.

    Some might be edited into FAQs or other off-ramps offered in the “start here” area before a new user starts a question.

    There are many possibilities and many stakeholding teams. I want whatever consensus solution to be well-used and maintainable. We won’t always have mörgæs to do that thankless task for us.
